Yth. Ibu, Bapak dan Rekan Masyarakat Indonesia di Midwest,

Terhitung mulai tanggal 1 Juni 2018, KJRI Chicago akan menerapkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Keimigrasian (SIMKIM) bagi semua permohonan paspor.

Dengan diberlakukannya SIMKIM, maka terhitung sejak 31 Mei 2018, KJRI Chicago tidak lagi menerima permohonan paspor melalui pos/mail. Setiap pemohon paspor harus datang ke KJRI Chicago untuk melakukan wawancara, pengambilan foto wajah dan sidik jari.

● Kami menyarankan pengisian formulir tersebut secara online pada laman: www.pemiluchicago2019.org. Bagi yang mendaftar secara online maka tidak perlu lagi mengisi formulir data terlampir secara manual.

Petunjuk pengisian Formulir Data Pemilih dan Tanda Bukti Pendaftaran sebagai berikut:

1. Isilah dengan lengkap formulir pendaftaran terlampir yang terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu Formulir Data Pemilih dan Tanda Bukti Pendaftaran. 
2. Formulir tersebut wajib ditandatangani pada kolom tanda tangan pemilih yang tersedia (terletak di sebelah kiri bawah halaman).
3. Kirim kembali Formulir Data Pemilih dan Tanda Bukti Pendaftaran yang telah diisi dengan disertai fotokopi paspor / KTPel, atau SPLP yang masih berlaku (bila anda belum pernah lapor diri dalam 2 tahun terakhir melalui System e-consular services), ke sekretariat PPLN yang beralamat di:

Robin Lim
For more than two decades, the health of mothers and their babies has been the focus of CNN Hero of the Year and licensed midwife Robin Lim. Her nonprofit, Bumi Sehat, was founded in 1995 and in the years since, has helped more than 300,000 patients with a range of medical services in the Philippines and Indonesia. Lim's team also assists with more than 1,000 deliveries each year.

After she was named the 2011 CNN Hero of the Year, "Mother Robin" used her prize money toward building new clinics in Indonesia and the Philippines. She has also been able to offer training and scholarships and expand her educational programs.

In the wake of the devastating typhoon that struck the Philippines in 2013, Lim's team was on the ground providing aid in places where health clinics were reduced to rubble. After the storm, Bumi Sehat set up a permanent clinic in the Philippines and continues to respond to areas hit by natural disaster.

Now, get ready for a shock to your system on Nov. 3 — it's time to turn back our clocks an hour for the end of daylight saving time. At 1:59 a.m. on Sunday morning our clocks will bump back an hour, to 1:00 a.m. instead of 2:00 a.m.

WORK PERMITS FOR DREAMERS
What does it mean and how do I apply?

On June 15th President Obama announced that he will protect from deportation and grant a work permit ('deferred action') to undocumented youth who:

• Came to US before their 16th birthday;
• Have lived in the US for at least 5 years as of June 15, 2012;
• Are in school, graduated from high school, earned a GED or served honorably in the US military;
• Are at least 15 years old (only if you are NOT in removal proceedings);
• Have not committed a felony, a significant misdemeanor or multiple misdemeanors

Dreamers who qualify are immediately safe from deportation

If you are currently in deportation proceedings or have a final order of deportation contact 1-855-448-6903 (24 hrs, 7 days a week) or the ICE Office of the Public Advocate at 1-888-351-4024 (9am-5pm, Monday - Friday).

The process to apply for work permits will be announced within 60days
There is currently no application, application process or waiting list.
If you apply now, your application will be rejected.
Protect yourself from fraud and abuse: DREAMers should look out for scam artists, "notarios," and others offering to "help" for money.
