Experience an unforgettable musical celebration filled with dance, spirit and vibrancy.

Bring your family and friends to experience a harmonious performance of Balinese music, dance and culture with Chicago Balinese Gamelan. CBG is a nonprofit that creates transformational cultural experiences that build community and expand individual perspective. The ensemble is comprised of 20 musicians and 10 dancers.

This performance features gong kebyar gamelan works like the dance Tari Jaran Teji (1985), during which goddesses disguise themselves as horsemen, and the world premiere of Zippers N' Chains (2020), composed by Ross Lafleur.
