Our organization has a culture of appreciation and a long tradition of serving and charity; and to thank the Indonesian and the Indonesian-American communities in Chicago for their continued unparalleled support to our organization, we are happy to announce that we’re continuing this tradition by hosting another yearly Pre-Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner at Wisma Indonesia this year.

This event is free of charge! Food, which will include turkey (say yes to the big bird!), beverage, and a few
desserts will be provided. As the name stands, this will be a potluck party. As we believe in sharing and caring, we encourage everyone to bring food to share with the guests :) In addition to the food, there will also be a few singing performances and fun games throughout the event, so expect yourself to not only feel full after the event, but also to be thoroughly entertained.
Another thing that we’d like to do differently during the event this year is Potluck Competition – please stay tune for more info on this. This will be a great way to show to the community how good of a cook you are and great prizes are in store for the winners :)
To be sensitive with everyone’s travelling concern, we will provide free travel accommodations from Chicago downtown to Wisma on a first-come first-served basis as seats are limited. Alternatively, you can take the CTA Purple Line Train and take the Linden stop. Please don’t hesitate to personally let us know any travelling concerns you may have.
Last, please kindly mark “attending” if you are sure you’re going to attend to the event. We need to get an accurate head count to know how much food (and how big of a turkey) to prepare. It would also be very helpful if you could post below what you will be bringing to the dinner, to reduce redundancy.
