Join us for an evening of music and refreshments. Our annual open houseat Hyde Park Union Church is an ideal introduction to gamelan musicand the people who play it. In just one evening, you'll learn to playa simple song on a variety of gamelan instruments.

Experienced membersof the Performance Ensemble will also present some advanced pieces;you'll feel inspired to learn more! If you're hooked and would like to keep playing,you are welcome to attend the free beginning gamelan class that beginsone week later on Tuesday, October 12.
