27 OCT ~ Gamelan Concert - Harmonious Tapestry of Indonesian Gamelan
In celebrating the 75th anniversary of Indonesia and the US bilateral relations,
the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Chicago
in collaboration with Field Museum and Friends of Gamelan,
presents a Gamelan Concert,
with theme of “Harmonious Tapestry of Indonesian Gamelan, Bridging Nations in Celebration of Indonesia-U.S. Relationship”.
Join us in a special Gamelan Concert that highlight the cultural bond between these two nations, featuring the mesmerizing sounds of the traditional Indonesian Gamelan orchestra, collaborating Friends of the Gamelan (FROG) Chicago’s players and the Indonesian players.
The concert will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, 12-2 PM CDT
in the Main Hall of Field Museum, 1400 S Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL, 60605.
