Description
These days it's more important than perhaps ever before to build bridges between the US and the Muslim world. The best representatives in the US from Muslim-majority countries are, of course, their diplomats. Sabeel Center aspires to play its bridge-building role with periodic presentations by these diplomats about issues pertinent to both the Muslim ummah and the US.
Celebrating 70 years of Indonesia - US Relations
In 2019,
Indonesia and the US celebrate 70th anniversary of

Indonesia is considered the leader in Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), an important strategic region for the US.
Under the framework of
Indonesia-US Strategic Partnership (2015), both countries share a common vision to maintain strong bilateral relations as the foundation for greater cooperation in all fields, such as security, trade, and defense.
