SAFARI RAMADHAN
Pengajian Chicago bekerjasama dengan Fungsi Sosial Budaya KJRI Chicago akan mengadakan Safari Ramadhan yang akan diisi dengan ceramah ceramah berbagai topik (yang disertai sesi tanya jawab ) yang akan disampaikan oleh Ustadz Amir Faisol Fath dari ICMI (Ikatan Cendekiawan Muslim Indonesia) yang dilanjutkan dengan buka puasa dan tarawih .

Adapun kegiatan Insya Allah akan dilaksanakan selama 3 hari , dengan rincian kegiatan Insya Allah menyusul.

• Pada hari Minggu 30 September 2007 Akan dilaksanakan di Wisma Indonesia, kediaman bapak Konsul Jendral RI di Chicago, Bapak Hidayat Kartahadimaja
• Pada Selasa, 2 Oktober 2007 di kediaman Bapak Iskandar (tentative)

ZAKAT , INFAQ, SADAQAH, WAKAF (ZISWAF) 2007
Pengajian Chicago bekerjasama dengan IMSA (Indonesian Muslim Society in America) dan lembaga Amil Zakat PKPU (Pos keadilan peduli Ummat) -- www.pkpu.or.id -- membuka kesempatan bagi bapak/ ibu jema'ah yang ingin menyalurkan zakat ke Indonesia di bulan ramadhan yang suci Ini.
Adapun besarnya zakat ialah sama dengan tahun lalu, US$ 10/ jiwa, dan dapat disampaikan mulai minggu ini kepada bendahara pengajian ( Ibu Anna Prabowo dan Ibu Arie Quick)

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. @ Hyde Park Union Church
Our annual open house at Hyde Park Union Church is an ideal introduction to gamelan music and the people who play it. Under expert tutelage, you'll learn to play a simple song on a variety of gamelan instruments. Our experienced players will also present some more advanced pieces for your inspiration. People of all musical backgrounds are welcome to attend -- all you need to bring is a desire to learn. For those coming directly from school or work, there will be snacks!

This year's open house will be special in that it will be the kick-off for the wayang kulit performance on November 17. Please plan to attend the open house if you are joining the beginning gamelan class. Please contact info@chicagogamelan.org for details.

Beginning Gamelan Classes
Free beginning gamelan classes will be held at Hyde Park Union Church every Tuesday evening from October 2, 2007 through November 6, 2007., meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graduates of the beginning class will perform in the wayang kulit on November 17!
Don't miss this opportunity to participate in an unforgettable event.

Hai mari semua saudara/i seiman yg merindukan kebersamaan dalam misa berbahasa ibu untuk menghadiri misa bulanan PWKI.

• Tempat: St. Therese Catholic School, 247 W 23rd Street, Chicago, IL 60616-0606
  Perhatian: Pindah lokasi karena Gereja St. Therese dipakai utk perayaan.
  
• Untuk lebih saling mengenal sesama saudara, sesudah misa kita makan siang bersama seperti biasanya.
• Yang berminat ke Acara Pasar Senggol - 15 September 2007 di Old St. Mary Church, Chicago dan belum membeli ticket, dipersilahkan membeli ticket setelah Misa. Persediaan ticket terbatas. Harga ticket hanya USD 5.00 sudah termasuk satu main dish.
• Kendaraan harap diparkir dibawah jembatan kereta dan validasi tiket parkir bisa diminta kepada Fely waktu makan siang.
